Are there spending limits on my Wise Business debit card?

Where can I use my Wise Business card?

You can pay with your Wise Business card almost anywhere in the world, but there are a few exceptions. So if you're going abroad, check if your destination is listed below.

Your card won't work in these countries:

Afghanistan, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo and DR of Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Palestinian Territories, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen.

How much does it cost to get a Wise Business card?

The first card on your Wise Business account is included in your one-time account setup fee. After that, cards for team members cost 3 GBP each.

And that’s it! Your Wise Business account gives you everything you need for international banking and we don’t charge any subscription fees.

Spending on our cards is designed to be in the local currency. So you don’t get hit with foreign transaction fees. If you don’t have the currency in your account, our Smart Conversion technology will automatically convert the balance that has the lowest conversion fee.

How does cashback on business debit cards work?

We offer 0.5% cashback on eligible business card transactions to businesses with Wise Business accounts registered in the UK.

You can get cashback on all transactions with your business card(s), except:

Cash or cash-like transactions, like ATM withdrawals, or cashbacks and purchases of gift vouchers
Gambling transactions, including bookmakers and casinos
Payments to financial institutions (like a credit card provider)
Payments connected to commodities, investments, savings or cryptoassets
Payments to government bodies or tax authorities

Cashback is a way for us to pass part of our margins back to you. We need to make sure we do so sustainably both for you and for our business, so we might change the cashback rate in the future — but we’ll always let you know first.
