If you're expecting a payment into your Wise account details, you'll want to know when it'll arrive. The time it takes depends on a few things:
The currency that was sent
The payment method the sender used
When the payment was sent, as payments sent on weekends and holidays can cause delays
When will my payment arrive?

*USD: Make sure your sender knows the difference in speed between ACH and wire transfers
Why do some international payments take longer?
When a payment is sent internationally, it might be processed by one or more intermediary banks before it reaches Wise. We have no control over this process, and these banks may have their own timelines and fees.
Usually, International Swift payments take up to 5 working days to reach your Wise account, but if it's delayed, you can contact your sender to ask them to request a payment trace. We'll also notify you if we receive an international payment with an unexpected amount.
What should you do if your money hasn't arrived?
If the estimated time for your payment has passed, follow these steps before contacting us:
Check with the sender. Ask the person or business who sent the money to confirm they sent it to the correct Wise account details. If they sent it to the wrong details, they'll need to initiate a trace or recall with their bank.
Ask the sender to provide you with a proof of payment. This document helps our team locate your money if it's been delayed.
Once you have the proof of payment, go to our Document Uploader, select the option Waiting for money to arrive in my account and follow the instructions. Our team will review the document and get back to you by email.
