Where can I open a Wise balance?

Some countries have restrictions on the type of account we can offer Wise balances to. Check your country below for more info.

• Bahrain, Malaysia, Philippines – balances are only available for personal accounts, not business accounts.

• Brazil: you can only open a BRL balance if you reside in Brazil

• Hong Kong – balances are only available for business accounts, not personal accounts.

• India – balances aren't available for personal accounts, but Indian businesses can still receive money with Wise

• United States – balances aren't available if you live in Nevada

We sometimes need to make changes that only affect new accounts. It's possible that older Wise accounts have access to different features than new ones.
